Nikita wins 3000 USD in South Asian Summit

A team led by Nikita Shahi group from Badigyan tole of Tansen Municipality has won the first place in the South Asian Economist Student Summit. The team of Shahi, a 7th semester student of BBM at the Tribhuvan Multiple Campus in Palpa, won a cash prize of 3,000 US dollars for coming out first in the event.

The summit was attended by students from India, Bangladesh, Afghanistan, Pakistan and Sri Lanka. Krishna Karki, Assistant Campus Chief of Tribhuvan Multiple Campus, said that Shahi had won the award after conducting an eight-month-long research on textile industries. Altogether eight teams had competed in the summit, which was held virtually due to COVID-19 pandemic.
